I just recently first updated our Lync Unified Messaging (UM) certificate, which is internal CA.
Then I renewed our Mail certificate (assigned IIS and SMTP services) from GoDaddy.
I got this warning when assigning the Mail certificate services. The thumbprint it references here is the Lync UM certificate that I had already updated.
Is this a problem?
Should I expect issues with currently configure Receive connectors? We do not have any external yet, but plan to.

I want to delete database. I already moved all users to another databases. However, I have an issue of moving arbitration mailboxes. Move-request for 4 arbitration mailboxes have being stacked in queue for couple of days. Removing of database is very urgent. Is there any way to safely delete those maibloxes, remove database, and recreate these mailboxes on another database?

We're running 2 Exchange 2013 CU20 servers on premise in a DAG, situated behind a pair of barracuda hardware load balancers. We use an external cloud based marketing/sales application that connects to Exchange's EWS site to compose and sent email outbound. This application also has meeting/calendar functionality that ties into Exchange calendars.
what I've been noticing lately are hundreds of MSExchange Web Services warnings and errors being logged on both servers.
example:

some of my research led me to some stack overflow forum posts describing similar event IDs (not exactly the same description) and that it could be related to an encryption protocol mismatch or usage of an obsoleted encryption protocol on one end of the communication.
I'm thinking maybe the ASP .NET framework on exchange is using TLS 1.0 and the remote site isn't negotiating secure communication with Exchange properly because of this, but I can't appear to verify this.

and I was thinking that disabling TLS 1.0 within the registry on both exchange servers may help, but am unsure. (SSL 2.0 and 3.0 are disabled via the registry)

I have installed Exchange 2013
3 Servers - EX2013MBXA and EX2013MBXB (Mailbox Role only on each Server - DAG setup) on Win 2012, andEX2013CASA (CAS Role) on Windows 2008 R2
EX2013CASA Server has SSL Cert form internal PKI (URL is https://owamail.Domain_Namr/owa)
All was OK and then suddenly when accessing EAC from Internet Explorer type in URL as above and logon as Domain Admin and then just get a blank page.
I have tried New-ecpVirtualdirectory and New-OWAVirtualDirectory as suggested on some sites to reset ecp in IIS.
Get-ClientAccessServer shows my CAS Server (EX2013CASA)
Worryingly
Test-ecpConnectivity -ClientAccessServer EX2013CASA reports
"The specified computer isnt a Client Access Server"
Any Ideas on blank EAC and the above error message ?

i have Exchange server 2013 with few certs and Microsoft Exchange Server Auth Certificate is going to be expired in next few days. as shown below and its configured on DAG with MBX1 and MBX2, the cert is same with
same thumbprint, serial and PK. as i know its self cert which installed automatic during the exchange deployment and use to integrate with others lync etc.
do i need to renew them before expiry as its self-signed certificates?
either i can renew on one server and import on remaining.

I tried the following command which doesn't work to prevent specific mailbox to connect by outlook desktop app such as outlook 2013.
and the specific mailbox can be used after an hour as I know that delay will happen for blocking.
Do I got somewrong?

New-MailboxExportRequest -ContentFilter {(Received -lt $Date1) -or (Sent -lt $Date1)} …
in .pst file I get all e-mails, but I want only olders than one month (Get-Date).AddMonths(-1).
Is it a bug in PowerShell command? Or how to use other command to get the same result?

I'm hoping it's just an oversight on my part but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to perform an advanced search. Interesting enough, when you start typing it provides tokens but there doesn't appear to be any wildcard options. As an example we have a multi-tenant environment, and I want to search for all those whose email address contains "contoso" -- Zero results.
I think okay, perhaps I should use the ellipsis to jump into the Advanced search dialog. Same results -- zero. Oh wow, there's that handy Help link in the top-right corner. That will set me on the correct path. *Click* oh wow, it takes me to a TechNet Library page titled "Recipients > Advanced Filter" but alas it is still waiting to be populated with content.
I've been hunting around but to no avail. It seems there clearly a push to use PS for any administrative tasks. As much as I'm on board with this, there is definitelybeauty is having a web-based console at my fingertips.
Perhaps we are expected to the same recipient filter syntax? -eq -ne -like

I was running exchange 2016 CU 8 and then I upgraded to CU 10 and i still have the same issue?
I strongly suspect this is the reason my exchange server needs to be rebooted EVERY HOUR! as it just stops receiving emails!

I would like to know if it is possible to achieve the following:
1. I have 2 domain names, aaa.com and bbb.com.
The mailbox also has an SMTP address that consists of these two domain Names.
2. I'm currently looking for some restrictions on the aaa.com domain name: A message/reminder is returned to the sender when internal and external users send to the mailbox using the aaa.com domain Name.
If possible, tell which transport rule and rule details should be used. Thank!

It's been a while for my organization's mail server to send mail to internal mailboxes.
So that the server will fix the problem by restarting it.
In the log I looked at, I encountered two forms that may be related to the problem.
1- A fatal alert was received from the remote endpoint. The TLS protocol defined fatal alert code is 46.
2- The indexing of the mailbox database 2GLimited encountered an unexpected exception. Error details: Microsoft.Exchange.Search.Core.Abstraction.OperationFailedException: The component operation has failed. ---> Microsoft.Exchange.Search.Core.Abstraction.CatalogReseedException: Some of the notifications for database '7fc6f864-db18-4a27-8d9e-3549cb09a52a (2GLimited)' are missing. I've been working more often these days with EMS than I used to. The EMS I'm using is directly on the Exchange 2013 server but I'm plagued with a recurring issue.
I'm typically using EMS for 3 to 4 hours sending commands through when suddenly it needs to create a new session. When it attempts to get a new session, it throws an error.

It tries to establish a new connection several times but eventually fails. I can close the EMS window the open a new one but it still fails to connect. If I wait several hours or even sometimes till the next day, it will connect again and I can work for 3-4 more hours until it fails again.
What would cause the connection to work OK for a while then suddenly stop? Am I overrunning some buffer or something?
Frustrated is an understatement.
