I'm trying to remove services assigned to a certificate without removing the certificate from the server. I have tried the "Remove-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint <cert_thumbprint>
-Services "None" -Verbose" and then restarted IIS (Just to make sure). This hasn't worked. Any assistance here, greatly appreciated.

We defragmented the edb using eseutil and then tried but we didn't succeed.
This cmdlet ran successully on Exchange 2010 SP1 server

Exchange 2013 transaction logs are growing rapidly
I'm looking for something Exchange 2013 related that can help me figure out why the logs are growing rapidly. About 3-4 times faster than when we had Exchange 2010. They are growing so fast that my backups can barely keep up.
I see everything on the internet for Exchange 2007 and 2010 when troubleshooting log growth but nothing for 2013. Are these methods still applicable? I have tried to run a few command line things but the commands are different.

Exchange 2010 showing a different folder size than the client

I have a user that the server is telling me is over her size limit. Checking the Data File properties on the client indicates she is no where near her limit and it is apparent that she has cleared out just about everything. The server however indicates that she has also 100 times more space used.
I ran Get-MailboxFolderStatistics -Identity "user mailbox name" and got the following results(limited to the specific section that seems odd):

TotalSubjectCount 1
Folder Size 135.2Mb
TotalSubjectSize 0
I am sure this is just my ignorance, but looking at the datafile properties - folder size on the client shows 0 items and 0 b used for the Drafts folder. Is "Subject" in this case referring to Drafts and if so why is the TotalSubjectSize not the same as the FolderSize?
More importantly, how can I fix this?

Exchange 2013 stops receiving external email after about 8 hours
Hello,
Just installed 2013 excahnge server 3 days ago. We noticed after the first night that we did not receive any external emails throughout the night. I could not find anything wrong with receive connectors. Telnet works internally when this happens but NO access from public side testing with telnet. After I reboot the exchange server everything functions just fine and normal for about 8 hours until it happens again.
I dont know what to check or look for at this point. Very new to exchange 2013. Any kind of advice would be helpful at this time.
It is not a firewall issue. Same firewall and set of rules that we use for other/old mail servers. We only have 1 exchange server that has all roles.

owa issues
Hi,
I have a lot off issues with my new exchange 2013:
I have two cas servers(WNLB), two mailbox servers (DAG). I have installed CU1 on all servers.
Some times I have owa blank page (after login). Some times I get the error service unavailble. When I reboot the server this problem disappear for a while. This problem happens sometimes on both CAS servers , some times on one of them.
I have these events on my cas servers:
A process serving application pool 'MSExchangeRpcProxyAppPool' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '2320 '. The process exit code was '0 xffffffff '.
The program w3wp.exe, with the process ID , could not authenticate locally by using the name of HTTP /mail.mydomain.com target. The target name used is not valid. A target name should refer to one of the local computer names, for example, the DNS host name. Try a different target name.
And a lot of errors about performance indicators update

Exchange 2010 High Availability across WAN
We are encountering an issue where our outlook users get prompted to log into Outlook when our primary CAS is down. We'd like to avoid this from happening. How can we accomplish high availability amongst our CAS servers?
Here is our Exchange 2010 SP1 environment:
Site 1 - (2 Servers) Every client connects to Site 1. Our intended use of Site 2 is for Backup/DR purposes only.
-CAS/HUB (CAS Array, Hosts FSW file)
-Mailbox (all DBs activated on this server, DAG member)
Site 2 - (2 Servers)
-CAS/HUB (CAS Array)
-Mailbox (DAG member)
WAN connectivity across Sites is 1Gb

Unable to remove mail user with PowerShell
I am working in an "Office 365 Midsize Business" environment.
Under both the 'Admin->users and groups' view in the Office 365 admin center, and the 'Exchange->recipients->mailboxes' in the Exchange admin center, a user we previously had set up and then removed does not appear. This is as expected.
In PowerShell, in an 'MsolService' session, the Get-MsolUser cmdlet does not list the user; also as expected.
In PowerShell, in an Exchange session, the user's mailbox is gone and does not appear in a Get-Mailbox Listing; as expected.
The Get-User cmdlet, however, still lists the user. (And coincidentally a second listing of the user with '...' following the name.)
Why does the user appear here still, and how do I properly remove it?

Exhange 2003 and Active Directory 2008
I presently have an Exchange 2003 environemnt (only one server) in a 2003 Active Directory schema
I want to upgrade the Active Directory to 2008 R2.(Only one Domain Controller)
What do I need to do to the Exchange environment. Eventually I will migration to Exchange 2010 but not just yes?
Also the Exchange 2003 server is running on Windows 2003.
