My organization currently doesn't have any external certificate now i am planning to get a wildcard certificate *.abc.com however my server names are Server1.Corp.abc.com so please suggest how should i purchase the certificate.
As i have seen in other environment if the server name is not included in certificate the users get certificate error in outlook
The SSL Certificate has been expired and under status showing date invalid.
I have downloaded the new certificate from CA (Third Party).
How i can renew the expired SSL certificate or Should install new one and how?

We have an Exchange 2010 / Office 365 hybrid setup. We have had this in place now for about 4 years. We have all mailboxes migrated to Office 365. The admin of these mailboxes is still done via the local Exchange servers Exchange Management Console and synched via AD Connect. Since creating this hybrid setup, the company has purchased other businesses which we have added to the hybrid setup. These businesses have kept their own domains but have used our hybrid setup for email using the Office 365 / Hybrid system. So they have their own domain completely separate to ours but share our email system.
The IT guys in these other domains have to remotely login to our Exchange server when they have to create an account or make some changes that cant be done via the Office 365 portal. Also, remote users not connected to the domain cannot change their passwords as they are not connected to our domain. We have an ADFS website setup so that they can change their passwords but this isn’t forced like it is when connected to a domain with group policy. It causes problems for both users and admins to maintain passwords, manage emails and so on.
Essentially what I am asking is, is there an easier way to do all this, what other options do I have? We need to make things easier for our overseas IT administrators and also password changes / forced password changes more effective.

We have a hybrid exchange environment (Exchange 2013 - Exchange online), the migration of all mailboxes to exchange online is now complete and I would like to free up some space on our exchange server whilst retaining the EAC for management purposes.
The ultimate goal being to recover the storage space on our SAN. Luckily each database drive is on its own VMware datastore / SAN volume.
My plan is as follows but it would be great if someone could sanity check it prior to me flipping the switch!
All mailboxes are now in exchange online.
1. repoint all devices using EOP as a relay to EOL and test.
2. Dismount the databases in EAC then leave for a while to see if any issues crop up.
3. Remove the database drives on the exchange server.
4. Delete the datastores.
I have read in other forums that you need to re-add some databases but im questioning if this is needed?

I would like to know if it is possible to achieve the following:
1. I have 2 domain names, aaa.com and bbb.com.
The mailbox also has an SMTP address that consists of these two domain Names.
2. I'm currently looking for some restrictions on the aaa.com domain name: A message/reminder is returned to the sender when internal and external users send to the mailbox using the aaa.com domain Name.

I've archived some mail to PST but the PST file is 75GB.
I don't want to try and open it in Outlook as I'm concerned that due to the 50GB file limit the file may become corrupt in the process.
Is there a way to split this file into two halves safely? or a no-risk way of opening it in Outlook 2013 and moving half the data into another PST?
We had a database problem that we could not recover that affects 22 users. We didn't have all the log files but don't want to do a hard recovery. We're opting to export the user's cached mail to a PST and then import it back into a newly created mailbox.
The old database is still in Exchange, albeit, Unmounted. What's the best strategy to create a new mailbox in another database? Should we remove the existing database that's Unmounted first?

I was running exchange 2016 CU 8 and then I upgraded to CU 10 and i still have the same issue?
I strongly suspect this is the reason my exchange server needs to be rebooted EVERY HOUR! as it just stops receiving emails!

And I can add the calendar to gmail calendar via the url; but nothing shows :(
How do I get external users to see whether a room is busy or not?

Or am I missing something else entirely?
