Hi,

I'm getting the following error:

MailboxTransport health set unhealthy (MailboxDeliveryAvailabilityMonitor) - The mail delivery smtp probe failed 5 times over 15 minutes.

I have checked server health and indeed one Probe/Monitor is unhealthy:

I have tried the following command:

Invoke-MonitoringProbe MailboxTransport\MailboxDeliveryAvailability -Server mailbox1.contoso.com | Format-List
As stipulated in the article "Troubleshooting MailboxTransport Health Set"

But it returns an error:

I have restarted the Health Manager service but this didn't help.

I'm running Exchange 2013 CU8

I read in this article that the MailboxDeliveryAvailability probe is now obsolete. Does it mean I can safely create a monitoring override?

i am trying to create email account on exchange 2013 using SharePoint Webpart. When connection open getting

Hi,

I'm getting the following error in SCOM and I also found it in the logs (%ExhchangeInstallPath%\TransportRoles\Logs\FrontEnd\ProtocolLog\SmtpSend):

The critical non-matching options were <maxSize>. The non-critical non-matching options were <NONE>. Client proxying will continue.

In the logs I find the session ID again in the following entry:

Every time I see this error, it seems a printer is involved. 

Also, I was told this could be related to inconsistent message size limits on my transport configuration but to be honest I doubt that this is the case (as I have other environments with similar max size settings where I don't get the error).

Cannot Login ECP newly installed Exchange 2013

Hi All,

Hope you'll be doing well, I have just installed Exchange 2013 in my lab environment a DC, 2 CAS and 2 mailbox servers with some low resources 2 GB RAM and single CPU each, installation all gone well successfully but I cannot login to ECP, the login page comes well but when I provide domain\Administrator credentials it gives http 500 error. I tried to remove and recreated the virtual directory as it was suggested in one of the threat at technet, created new domain user as copy of domain administrator, enable that user as mailbox enabled user, tried to login ecp with that user but same result. Can anybody advise some other TS steps.

Just One User Can't Send Email - the rest works!

I have just one user that can't send email outbound whether inside the organization or outside.  They can receive inbound emails from within the organizaiton or outside the organization.

I have reviewed their setup and attempted a new profile on several different computers with several different office suites.  The rest of my users function normally.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?  Exchange 2010 SP3 with updates.  Office Suites 2010, 2013, and 2016.

Microsoft Filtering Management and Microsoft Transport services will not start!!!

Suddenly, FMS does't start so the Transport service stops.

I have checked everything, Replication and connectivity to DNS---> It is working. 

OWA, Exchange powershell, Exchange Management Shell, and outlook are working. 

Databases are healthy.

I went to registery and change the dependencies of Transport service but no vain. 

But the problems with the these two services don't want to start. 

Can you help me what should I check also to find out???

Monitoring is unhealthy running get-HealthReport

When I run the get-healthReport cmdlet..I get these two unhealthy items, all other items (not shown) are healthy.

Can anyone tell me what this means? And how to correct them to a healthy state?

Exchange Control Panel - '500 Unexpected Error' when selecting the Federation Trust 'Modify' button.

Our environment includes two on-prem Exchange 2013 servers that are members of the same DAG, running Version 15.0 (Build 1156.6).

I'm running into a problem in the Exchange Control Panel when I go to configure Federation Trust.  Under 'Organization' > 'Sharing' > and under the 'Federation Trust' Header, there's a 'modify' button.  When I click the button, a new browser page opens with a '500 Unexpected Error' message.

I am trying to use 2 OU's in the definition of a dynamic distribution group.  Here is my command and the error:

Cannot empty deleted items folder - Litigation hold?

Hello,

I have a user in my office that for months has been unable to empty their deleted items folder. They select Empty folder and the folder empties out and then all comes back. Same thing happens when they try to individually delete files within the folder. It does not matter if they are using Outlook software or Outlook OWA.

After a little digging, I found that a litigation hold was placed on their account/mailbox and I removed the hold. This is because after doing some reading I found that others with a litigation hold had the same issue as the user in my office. My question is, does it take a while for the disabling of the hold to take effect? It has been over 2 hours and they still are having the same problem so either this wasn't the cause or it just takes a while.

Any insight or suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Search mailbox using key word

New to Exchange 2013.  Company needs to run a keyword search on multiple of users mailboxes.  Found "How to" on this with Exchange 2010, but can't find anything on Exchange 2013.  Is this feature still available or it can only be done thru Powershell?

Any recommendation of 3rd party tools that performs such task?

Exception with Remote Powershell ADInvalidCredentialException

Hi Techies,

I am trying to get Mailbox statistics using Remote Powershell as an Administrator.

I have gave privileges to Administrator , but even after my powershell command is retrieving data some time and sometimes shows error like

Active Directory operation failed on sys.sys2008.co.in. The supplied credential for 'HYP2008\Administrator' is invalid.
    + CategoryInfo          : NotSpecified: (:) [], ADInvalidCredentialException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : D3F53D22
    + PSComputerName        : ComputerName

It is not happening all the time. Periodically my command works.

This is my command :

Log files exchange 2013 keeps getting hours behind

I have a question about the SMTPReceive log file.

When opening the file we see that the time is 2 hours off :

but the time is exactly 10:21..

Do you guys have a any clue?

cas uses invalid certificate error

Exchange 2013 cu10

i have a valid cert registered. when i goto https://cas01.acme.com it doesn't give an error about the certificate. however, when i goto http://cas02.acme.com it gives this error:

cas2.acme.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: autodiscover.acme.com, mail.acme.com

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

the same certificate i applied for cas01 and exported it to cas02. from the ECP when querying the certificate for CAS02, the status is valid.

then why am i getting the above error?
