Exchange 2010 addreplicatopfrecursive script

Hi,

Doing an upgrade from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 before the final move to Exchange 2013. There are loads of articles out there that explains how to migrate public folders from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 using the provided scripts AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 and MoveAllReplicas.ps1.

Problem description:

There is one Active Directory forest with a single domain. The Active Directory contains multiple sites, a site for each office/country. All countries have their own set of Public Folders mainly, however some PF's are replicated cross sites. If I run the script 'AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 –server “<Exch_2010_siteA>” –TopPublicFolder “\” –ServerToAdd “<Exch_2010_siteA>”' will that only add the Public Folders from my Exchange 2003 in site A to Exchange 2010 in site A, or will it add all Public Folders from all sites to the Exchange 2010 in site A?

The switch to specify the source server only works if it's an Exchange 2007 server and as described in the help index, it will choose a convenient server if the connection to the specified server fails. I cannot find information about how to control the behaviour for Exchange 2003 servers.

From the AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 help file:

-Server (optional)
The server to operate against. Must be an Exchange 2007 Mailbox server
with a public folder database. Defaults to a convenient server.

Hope someone is able to shed some light on this issue.
