We are encountering an issue where our outlook users get prompted to log into Outlook when our primary CAS is down. We'd like to avoid this from happening. How can we accomplish high availability amongst our CAS servers?
Here is our Exchange 2010 SP1 environment:
Site 1 - (2 Servers) Every client connects to Site 1. Our intended use of Site 2 is for Backup/DR purposes only.
-CAS/HUB (CAS Array, Hosts FSW file)
-Mailbox (all DBs activated on this server, DAG member)
Site 2 - (2 Servers)
-CAS/HUB (CAS Array)
-Mailbox (DAG member)
WAN connectivity across Sites is 1Gb
